Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, one of the richest and most famous Reggae artists was born on Friday, February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He was in Shottas the cult movie opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records for his 1996 debut album, Like Father Like Son album and singles such as Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the top single on the British reggae chart),"Who the Cap (remix), Sensimelia and others all contributed to the increasing recognition for his latest generation of reggae. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces together with Praswell (Fugees) for Avenue an acclaimed cover from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was a part of the Midem show (an international music showcase) and was first held in Miami. Marley presented a show on the Cameo Theatre which was live broadcast to other 36 nations. Marley was involved engaged in a bidding war. The singer joined Gee Street/V2 Records where in 1997 he worked with P.M. Dawn is the singer on Gotta Movin' On Up....
