The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. In 2010 Anushka Sharma appeared in the film "Badmash Co' alongside Shahid Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor. Das as well as Meiyang Chang. This movie was met with mixed critiques. Anushka was in a movie named Band Baaja Baaraat, starring Ranveer in which she portrayed the role of a middle class who sets up her wedding planning company. The film received excellent reviews and was widely regarded as a sleeper and a huge success. Anushka has completed her 3-film contract in partnership with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
